Smart Countertop Dispenser

Ecosoft Spark Reverse Osmosis Dispenser with Sparkling, Cold and Hot Water

Six kinds of water from one machine: sparkling, cold, ambient, warm, hot and boiling. Four-stage reverse osmosis, a full-colour touchscreen showing live TDS, and no plumbing required unless you want it. It sits on the worktop and replaces your kettle, your filter jug, your sparkling water machine and the bottled water in your shopping.

Six Water Types
Sparkling to boiling, one tap
No Plumbing Needed

Live TDS Display

24-Month Cartridge
One cartridge, four stages

Two things to check before you order

Your water's TDS must be 250 ppm or below. The Spark is specified for tap water within that limit, and parts of Ireland sit close to or above it on hard limestone supplies. A TDS pen costs very little and will tell you where your supply sits in seconds. If your water reads above 250 ppm, this is not the right machine for it.

Height clearance on your worktop. The unit stands 510 mm tall, which is more than the gap under many wall cabinets. Measure from the worktop to the underside of the cupboard above before ordering.

Six types of water, on demand

Water type Temperature Volumes
Sparkling Chilled, around 10 °C 150, 300, 500 ml
Cold Adjustable 4 to 8 °C 150, 300, 500 ml
Ambient Room temperature 150, 300, 500, 1000 ml
Warm 45 °C 150, 300, 500 ml
Hot Adjustable 50 to 90 °C in 5 °C steps 150, 300, 500, 1000 ml
Boiling Up to 100 °C 150, 300, 500 ml

The 5 °C increments on hot water are the detail people end up using most. Green tea at 70 °C, coffee at 90 °C, a bottle at 45 °C, all without a thermometer or guesswork.

Key features

  • Four-stage RO in one cartridge. Sediment, activated carbon, a 200 GPD membrane and a post-carbon polish, all in a single cartridge rated for roughly 24 months or 4,000 litres. One part to buy, one part to change.
  • Tank or tap, your choice. Fill the 5 litre tank by hand and use it anywhere there's a socket, or use the included connection kit to plumb it into your mains and never fill it again.
  • Sparkling water on tap. Chilled and carbonated on demand from a standard 60 litre threaded CO2 cylinder, with the CO2 level shown on screen. No bottles, no syrup, no plastic.
  • Touchscreen with live readouts. Water type, temperature, volume, TDS, filter status and CO2 level, all on a full-colour display.
  • Wi-Fi and app control. Connects to the Smart Life app on Android and iOS.
  • UV sterilisation and child lock. An automatic UV cycle keeps the purified tank clean, and the hot water function is locked against accidental dispensing.

What's included

  • Ecosoft Spark dispenser with the 4-stage cartridge fitted
  • Connection kit: feedwater adapter, PE tubing and drain saddle
  • User manual

The CO2 cylinder is not included. The Spark takes any standard 60 litre threaded cylinder, the same type used by common home carbonation systems, so they are widely available to buy or exchange in Ireland.

Setting it up

  • In tank mode there's nothing to install. Sit it on the worktop, plug it in, fill the tank and run the flushing cycle
  • It must go into a grounded wall socket. Extension leads and travel adapters are not permitted, and at 2,400 W it shouldn't share a socket with another heavy appliance
  • For mains mode, the connection kit is included in the box: a feedwater adapter, PE tubing and a drain saddle
  • Run the user-activated flushing cycle after installation and after every cartridge change
  • At 20 kg it's a two-person lift onto the worktop

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to plumb it in?

No. It runs perfectly well from the built-in 5 litre tank, which you top up by hand. Plumbing it into the mains just saves you refilling it, and the kit to do so comes in the box.

Is the CO2 cylinder included?

No, and you will need one for the sparkling function. It accepts any standard 60 litre threaded cylinder, the same type used by common home carbonation systems, so refills and exchanges are easy to come by from the usual suppliers.

How do I know if my water is under 250 ppm TDS?

A TDS pen will tell you in seconds and costs very little. This matters, because feeding the Spark water above its rated limit will shorten cartridge life and put the machine outside its specification.

How often does the cartridge need changing?

Around every 24 months or 4,000 litres, whichever comes first. The screen notifies you automatically, so there's nothing to track yourself.

Does it add minerals back into the water?

No, there is no mineralisation stage, so the output is pure RO water. Some people prefer it that way and some prefer minerals added back for taste, which is worth knowing before you choose.

Is it safe with children around?

The hot water function has a child lock that prevents accidental dispensing. As with any appliance producing water at 100 °C, we'd still keep it out of easy reach of small children.
